Rated 1 out of 5 by from I used a Duncan Hines brownie mix. I used a Duncan Hines brownie mix. It was impossible to split the brownie in half (It wasn't high enough to make 2 layers), so I settled with just a single layer. Adding 1/2 cup of sour cream to the brownie mixture made the brownie very dry. The topping was terrible! In my opinion, it calls for WAY too much sour cream. And it only calls for 1 TBSP of powdered sugar. I ended up putting 3 TBSP's of powdered sugar in the topping to try and make it taste better, but it still tasted terrible. We tasted the finished product (which looked pretty with the fruit on top), but basically, the whole thing went straight to the trash. Sorry, but I won't make this again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This was good but not as good as I had anticipated. This was good but not as good as I had anticipated. Not sure about the sour cream mixture. Thought I would love it, but it kind of tastes like vanilla yogurt. We tried it last night and it was ok, then today once it had been refridgerated, it was better. Definitely serve it cold! I might try it again and try a cream cheese mixture or even a whipped cream mixture. Also, the sour cream in the brownie batter does take away some of the chocolate flavor. Again, better when cold!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The sour cream was way too much for this recipe. The sour cream was way too much for this recipe. It made the brownie mix too dry and the topping smelled and tasted like soured milk. All in all, it looked really pretty, but after the first bite I threw the whole thing in the trash. A waste of time and money. Ugh!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful-Took it to work-didn't last 1 hour. Wonderful-Took it to work-didn't last 1 hour. I added an extra cup of cool whip to cut down on the sour cream wang. I also added another TBSP of conf sugar and another tsp of vanilla so it didn't taste like cool whip. Definitely a keeper!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The amount of sour cream that you are suppose to use is just way to much. The amount of sour cream that you are suppose to use is just way to much. I think if I ever do decide to make this again I will use less then what it says, or substitute it with something else. The taste of Sour Cream was overwhelming.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This recipe works best if you just make the brownie recipe and then layer it with creamcheese. This recipe works best if you just make the brownie recipe and then layer it with creamcheese. Try adding strawberry jam to the creamcheese before spreading on the brownie. Whipped topping with the fruit, and it is an awesome dessert!
