Easy Caramel Popcorn Recipe

What You Need

pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Caramels

Tbsp. butter or margarine

1

Tbsp. water

12

cups air-popped popcorn

1

cup PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 300°F. Spray large baking sheet with cooking spray. Cook caramels, butter and water in large saucepan on low heat until caramels are melted, stirring frequently.

COMBINE popcorn and peanuts in large bowl. Add caramel mixture; toss to coat. Spread onto prepared baking sheet.

BAKE 20 min., stirring after 10 min. Spoon onto sheet of waxed paper; cool completely. Break into clusters.

Use Your Microwave

To melt caramels in the microwave, place caramels, butter and water in large microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 2-1/2 to 3 min. or until caramels are completely melted when stirred, stirring after each minute.

Wow! this is, by far, the easiest caramel corn I've made and the best (better than the "from-scratch"). Now I have time to make the other appetizers for the party. Thanks Kraft!

I believe cooking it for 10 minutes is wise. I also added chocolate to some of them I made and did well.

Excellent. I used the little caramel bits that don't require the unwrapping, and since they're smaller, they're quicker to melt. Very very yummy. I'll definitely make this again! Rave reviews from gift recipients too!

I like the caramel a little sticky, so I don't bake it the second time. Sooo yummy!

My family loved it. I had didn't have enough peanuts so I finished off with honey roasted peanuts. Even put more than it called for because I love the peanut taste. It tasted like Crunch and Munch that you purchase in the stores.
