Make It

Tap or click steps to mark as complete

  • Heat oven to 375ºF.
  • Microwave caramels and milk in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 to 2 min. or until caramels are completely melted, stirring after each minute. Pour into 8-inch round pan sprayed with cooking spray; top with 1/2 cup nuts.
  • Unroll crescent roll dough; separate into 2 rectangles. Press perforations in each rectangle together to seal. Mix remaining nuts, sugar, cinnamon and raisins; sprinkle over dough. Roll up each rectangle, jelly-roll fashion, starting at one short end; cut into 4 slices. Place, cut sides down, in prepared pan. (Sprinkle with any sugar mixture that may have fallen out of rolls.)
  • Bake 17 to 20 min. or until lightly browned. Immediately invert pan onto plate; remove pan. Spread any caramel from pan over buns. Cool slightly.

Size Wise

This sweet breakfast treat is a great addition to any brunch menu. Be sure to make enough so each person gets one bun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I made these into cinnamon rolls instead - VERY GOOD! I made these into cinnamon rolls instead - VERY GOOD! I used melted butter on the crescent roll rectangles and then sprinkled cinnamon and sugar on and proceeded with the remaining directions. VERY GOOD! Keep an eye on them though, they do tend to burn! Then just use a powder sugar icing to complete! YUM YUM!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this exact recipe with the exception of nuts. I made this exact recipe with the exception of nuts. Then I made it again with some substitutions. I used splenda rather than sugar, low fat whipping cream and low fat butter. The taste was just as good and probably better knowing that it was less fatting. Thanks so much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sounds wonderful, but I was surprised with the title there were no apples in the recipe. Sounds wonderful, but I was surprised with the title there were no apples in the recipe. Then I realized that it was for the 'Caramel-Apple' caramels. I would substitute chopped dried apples for the raisins and have a true caramel apple taste!
