I have made these meatballs a few times and have tweaked the recipe just a bit each time with this or that (like using fresh grated black pepper in the recipe and fresh parmesan when serving them) but I have found that these are definitely better the next day so I recommend making these, letting them cool and then marinate in the sauce overnight. I also make extra because they are good alone, over pasta or on meatball subs. Very nice and simple recipe and my kids like them a lot. I also use whatever sauce I have on hand, and nice tomato, onion and garlic flavored sauce works well.

Nobody in my family ever liked my meatballs, no matter what recipe I tried, UNITL I tried this one. It was a hit. Its really good. Very easy too. Spagetti and meatballs are finally back at our house. I made meatball "heros" the next day for lunch with melted mozerella cheese on top.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I loved how easy it was, and how good they tasted. I loved how easy it was, and how good they tasted. I substituted hand-shredded parm for the grated, and doubled both the salt and the pepper. I won't say which canned pasta sauce I used... ;-) A recipe like this is only as good as the meat you put in it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from When I make this recipe again, I will reduce the amount of cheese. When I make this recipe again, I will reduce the amount of cheese. It seemed to cheesy to me. Next time I will not mix the cheese into the meat. I will just sprinkle it on top of the dish before serving. It was easy to make and the sauce was tasty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy and tasty basic recipe. Easy and tasty basic recipe. The only thing I do differently is I only bake the meatballs 12 minutes, add to the pasta sauce, and simmer for an additional 30-35 minutes. This adds additional flavor to both the meatballs and sauce.
