What You Need

2
Tbsp. olive oil
4
 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1 lb.), cut in half
2
cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
2
cups water
1
cup milk
1
tsp. butter
2
cups KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1
can  (14-1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes, undrained
1
tsp. dried oregano leaves
1
tsp. crushed red pepper

Make It

HEAT oil in large skillet or saucepot on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook until browned on both sides. Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 15 min. or until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet; keep warm.

ADD macaroni, water, milk and butter to skillet. Cook until macaroni is tender, stirring frequently.

ADD cheese; cook and stir until melted. Add tomatoes, oregano and crushed red pepper; stir until well blended. Return chicken to skillet; stir gently to cover chicken with tomato mixture.

Variation
Omit olive oil, chicken breast halves, macaroni, water, milk and butter. Prepare 1 pkg. (7-1/4 oz.) KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner in large skillet as directed on package. Add tomatoes, oregano and crushed red pepper; mix well. Add 2 cups shredded cooked store-bought rotisserie chicken; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
Special Extra
Add chopped fresh jalapeno peppers to the tomato mixture for a spicy alternative.
