What You Need

Tbsp.  olive oil
 boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb.), cut in half
cups  elbow macaroni, uncooked
cups  water
cup  milk
tsp.  butter
cups  KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
can   (14-1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes, undrained
tsp.  dried oregano leaves
tsp.  crushed red pepper

Make It

HEAT oil in large skillet or saucepot on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook until browned on both sides. Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 15 min. or until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken from skillet; keep warm.

ADD macaroni, water, milk and butter to skillet. Cook until macaroni is tender, stirring frequently.

ADD cheese; cook and stir until melted. Add tomatoes, oregano and crushed red pepper; stir until well blended. Return chicken to skillet; stir gently to cover chicken with tomato mixture.

Enjoy this dish with a mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Dressing and a serving of your favorite fresh fruit for a well-balanced meal.
Omit olive oil, chicken breasts, macaroni, water, milk and butter. Prepare 1 pkg. (7-1/4 oz.) KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner in large skillet as directed on package. Add tomatoes, oregano and crushed red pepper; mix well. Add 2 cups shredded cooked store-bought rotisserie chicken; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
Special Extra
Add chopped fresh jalapeno peppers to the tomato mixture for a spicy alternative.
