Rated 5 out of 5 by from this was very good. this was very good. you have to make them small to get the 6 dozen and it definately takes a while to make, much longer than the time given, but it's well worth the effort. if you're going to coat it wiith nuts, make sure the nuts are crushed fine. **to make them even better, I melted some chocolate frosting so it was warmer than room temperature, and dipped the truffles in it before coating them with nuts. this got messy, but the truffles turned out very well. great gift for your husband!

I make them every year for the holidays and always get requests for the recipe. They make a beautiful presentation set out on tables in little silver wrappers. I make a few batches, some with liquer and some without...and I roll them in powdered sugar, cocoa, coconut, nuts, holiday sprinkles, and candy cane pieces.

Very good, took me a little longer than the directions, but then again I am a prefectionest when I make gifts for others. They taste great, I just added a little Cream de Menthe to the truffle mix and rolled them in finely crushed candy canes. Also made almond, coconut, and pretzel coated. The pretzel coat was a little more difficult, but worth the effort.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I split the recipe in thirds. I split the recipe in thirds. One was milk chocolate flavored with vanilla and rolled in powdered sugar. The second was milk chocolate flavored with almond and rolled in toasted coconut and the third was white chocolate flavored with raspberry and drizzled with milk chocolate. Raspberry was our favorite but they were all good and I will make them again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very easy. Very easy. I used the low fat cream cheese to make it slightly less guilt-filled. Instead of putting it in the fridge, I put the bowls (I made 3 flavors) in the freezer. After an hour, very easy to work with. I left them in the freezer over night when I was done and took them to work in baggies as gifts. Worked beautifully!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I loved this recipe. I loved this recipe. It was easy to make and the clean up was pretty easy also. I rolled mine in lots of different things but my families favorite was the cherry jello. It tasted so much like chocolate covered cherries. These truffles make great gifts. ( I put them in an empty card box and wrapped the cover in pretty paper)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These turned out great, and we had fun making them. These turned out great, and we had fun making them. They are a bit messy to roll and coat, but the finished product looked very pretty, and we gave them out as teacher gifts. We halved the mix, and used peppermint extract instead of vanilla, then rolled in finely crushed peppermints and powdered sugar. Yum!
