I really enjoyed this recipe! This will be my go-to recipe for lasagna from now on. The only reason I didn't give this recipe 5 stars is because I didn't feel that the quantities of some of the ingredients were enough. I didn't have enough meat sauce or cottage cheese based off of what was listed in the recipe, so next time I will increase the ground beef to a 1 1/2 pounds, will get a larger jar of spaghetti sauce and I will get a larger container of cottage cheese as well. I ran out of meat sauce on the second layer so I had to open up a can of tomato sauce and use that on the top layer and also ran out of the cottage cheese. The noodle amount was perfect and everything else was perfect however based on the size dish stated in the recipe and the size of the lasagna, there just wasn't enough meat sauce for 3 layers or cottage cheese for 2 layers (and that was with spreading the layers very thin). I love this recipe! I have made it several times and use it as a base receipe. I add different vegetables and experiment with different meats and cheeses. So good!
Very good! I use ground turkey, fat free cheese, and whole grain noodles to make it a little healthier.
