  • Brown meat in large skillet on medium-high heat; drain. Add onion; cook and stir until tender. Stir in sauce; cover. Reduce heat to low; simmer 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Layer 1/3 of the meat sauce, 3 noodles, 1/2 of the cottage cheese and 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese in 13x9-inch baking dish; repeat layers. Top with remaining 3 noodles, meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.


Substitute lean ground turkey for ground beef and KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese for mozzarella cheese.

    I really enjoyed this recipe! This will be my go-to recipe for lasagna from now on. The only reason I didn't give this recipe 5 stars is because I didn't feel that the quantities of some of the ingredients were enough. I didn't have enough meat sauce or cottage cheese based off of what was listed in the recipe, so next time I will increase the ground beef to a 1 1/2 pounds, will get a larger jar of spaghetti sauce and I will get a larger container of cottage cheese as well. I ran out of meat sauce on the second layer so I had to open up a can of tomato sauce and use that on the top layer and also ran out of the cottage cheese. The noodle amount was perfect and everything else was perfect however based on the size dish stated in the recipe and the size of the lasagna, there just wasn't enough meat sauce for 3 layers or cottage cheese for 2 layers (and that was with spreading the layers very thin). All in all despite the fact that I ran out of ingredients this lasagna was still del

    I love this recipe! I have made it several times and use it as a base receipe. I add different vegetables and experiment with different meats and cheeses. So good!

    Very good! I use ground turkey, fat free cheese, and whole grain noodles to make it a little healthier.
