Recipe ingredients can be easily halved to make only four servings. Pour pudding into 2-cup shallow baking dish; continue as directed.
Crème Brûlée can also be made with 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Cook & Serve Pudding. Prepare pudding as directed on package using 2 cups milk and 1 cup half-and-half. Pour into 1-qt. shallow baking dish; refrigerate 1 hour. Sprinkle with brown sugar and broil as directed just before serving.
Crème Brûlée is best when the sugar is broiled immediately before serving. After leftovers are refrigerated, the sugar "crust" will dissolve. Just sprinkle dessert with additional brown sugar and broil as directed just before serving.
