What You Need

1/2

cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing

Tbsp. sugar

pkg. (8 oz.) coleslaw blend (cabbage slaw mix)

1/2

cup chopped PLANTERS COCKTAIL Peanuts

slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled

Make It

MIX dressing and sugar in large bowl.

ADD remaining ingredients; mix lightly. Cover.

REFRIGERATE at least 1 hour before serving.

Substitute

Substitute 1 pkg. (3 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Real Bacon Bits or Recipe Pieces for the cooked and crumbled OSCAR MAYER Bacon.

Substitute

Substitute 4 cups shredded green cabbage and 1 cup shredded red cabbage for the coleslaw blend.

Special Extra

Add 1-1/2 tsp. cider vinegar to the coleslaw before chilling.

My husband and brother-in-law both love cabbage and both love coleslaw, and I am constantly trying to find new ways to prepare it so that it doesn't get boring for them, this sounds like something that they will both love and sounds like a really neat way to change it a little so that it doesn't get boring for them. If they like it , it will be one of my regularly used recipes. Thanks for a changeable recipe version to an old favorite. If it tastes as good as it looks it will be a wonderful addition to my recipe cache.

The sugar/salty blend of flavors (used bacon instead of bacon bits) makes this slaw superb!!

My husband loved it, but the portions are incorrect. It really serves @ 4. Also, I substituted Splenda for the sugar. <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Mary ~ You are right that the portion size is incorrect. Servings should be 6 (1/2-cup) servings. We will correct on our site.>>>

When I made this I used the bacon bits but next time I'll use real bacon. This was gone in no time and everyone just raved about it.

What I like about this recipe is that it is easy to make, it taste's good and the ingredients are simple. I used less peanuts than the recipe called for and it was still nice and crunchy. I will make this again.
