Easy East Meets West Baked Pork Chops

East meets West in this easy baked pork chop dish, with its yummy cherry cola-soy sauce that's doctored up with garlic, ginger and chopped fresh thyme.

What You Need

cup  cherry cola
cup  lite soy sauce
cloves  garlic, minced
Tbsp.  dry mustard
tsp.  ground ginger
tsp.  chopped fresh thyme
  bone-in pork loin center chops (2 lb.)
Tbsp.  olive oil
pkg.  (6 oz.) STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Pork
Tbsp.  KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

COMBINE first 6 ingredients; pour over chops in shallow glass dish. Refrigerate 2 hours to marinate, turning occasionally.

HEAT oven to 425ºF. Prepare stuffing mix as directed on package, following microwave directions. Stir in cheese; set aside. Remove chops from marinade; discard marinade. Pat chops dry with paper towels. Cut slit in center of fat side of each chop, making each cut the length of chop and almost to bone in center of each chop. Fill pockets evenly with stuffing mixture. Gently press down tops of chops to enclose stuffing. Place on baking sheet brushed with oil.

BAKE 25 to 30 min. or until chops are done (145ºF). Let stand 3 min.

How to Grill Stuffed Pork Chops
Heat grill pan on medium-high heat. Add chops; grill 12 to 15 min. or until chops are browned on both sides and done, turning halfway through the cooking time.
Serving Suggestion
Spoon any stuffing that doesn't fit into pockets in chops into small baking dish; cover. Bake along with chops for last 10 to 15 min. of chop baking time. Serve with chops.

Chops can be marinated up to 24 hours.
