I added smoked sausage to mine but it was hard to keep lit.
I was surprised to see this one wasn't rated yet. It was delicious and easy to make. The taste was fabulous, and it definitely has that German flair to it. A great side for kielbasi or any other German or meat dish. My whole family loved it, even my picky daughter.
My family doesn't eat Swiss so I used half mozzarella and half cheddar cheese. I think I would swap out the white vinegar with apple cider vinegar next time and yes there will be a next time. I also suggest making this and dividing it between two 8x8 baking pans and freezing one and baking the other as this is a LARGE casserole. Very good.
