  • Heat grill to medium heat.
  • Pour 1/4 cup dressing over chicken in shallow dish; turn to evenly coat both sides of each breast. Refrigerate 10 min.
  • Meanwhile, mix barbecue sauce, marmalade and remaining dressing.
  • Remove chicken from dressing; discard dressing. Grill chicken 5 to 7 min. on each side or until done (165°F), brushing occasionally with barbecue sauce mixture for the last few minutes.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with Fantastic Grilled Corn on the Cob and hot cooked rice.

Note

For added convenience, the chicken can be marinated in refrigerator up to 24 hours before grilling as directed.

We made this recipe just how it was suggested, only I doubled the amount of sauce I made and reserved some for "dip" for our two young children. My husband thought this recipe was very easy and everyone LOVED it! Even my VERY, VERY, VERY picky 2 year old ate a WHOLE chicken breast! We'll be making this many more times this summer!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This BBQ chicken is awesome! This BBQ chicken is awesome! We made it last year for the bbq's we hosted, and this year as well. It was a great hit with everyone who had it. My friend even jotted down the recipe and made it for her parents and they loved it. Marinading overnight is best in order to get the full flavor. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

I substituted apricot preserves for the orange marmalade- I also marinated the chicken in the italian dressing, apricot preserve and bbq sauce instead of using it as a glaze. It had really great flavor- will definitely make this again!

I also didn't have any marmalade so I used grape jelly as others had suggested and it worked really well! The chicken was really moist and had a great flavour

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, quick, and easy meal. Great, quick, and easy meal. Very moist. I used some BBQ sauce to mix into a can of baked beans added some brown sugar and a touch of mustard, stired and microwaved for 3-4 min. Will definately consider doing again.

The flavor was great - my son didn't even ask for ketchup! Looking forward to trying the chicken grilled next time. Fork tender and tasty!
