Easy Orange-Glazed Chicken Dinner recipe

Came out yummy and was a very simple weeknight dish. Didn't reheat so well, but I'd definitely make it again!

What You Need

boneless skinless chicken breasts (1-1/4 lb.)

1/4

cup orange marmalade

1/3

cup SHAKE 'N BAKE Chicken Coating Mix

medium orange, cut into thin slices

cups hot cooked green beans

hearty wheat rolls

Make It

PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Spread chicken breasts with marmalade. Measure 1/3 cup coating mix; place in shallow dish. Coat both sides of chicken with the coating mix.

PLACE orange slices in 13x9-inch baking dish; top with chicken.

BAKE 25 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Serve with green beans and rolls.

Substitute

Substitute apricot preserves for the orange marmalade.

This is a good quick supper. The marmalade is a little messy to coat with, and it made my shake 'n'bake a little gooey though. But it tastes great and my husband loved it, so will definitely make again!

This had nice taste, however, mine didn't look anything like the picture. It wasn't very crispy, as the marmalade soaked into the shake 'n' bake coating and made it gooey. It was a little frustrating to make, as it was hard to coat evenly, and it was also sticky and messy. I think I will stick to plain shake 'n' bake next time.

this was very easy to make and i liked the sweetness of the orange because it hid the "fake" shake and bake taste.

This was good, but very sweet. It was very difficult to get the marmalade evenly onto the chicken breasts. Also difficult to get the shake-n-bake to stick. Not worth the frustration to me.

made this for my boyfriend...he is very picky and liked it. i will make it again but will peel orange before placing chicken on top...could taste the peel a little...i also had to add about 10 minutes to the bake time.

It was good. But a little sweet. Next time I would use some soy sauce with it to try to balance it.
