Make It

  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Mix 1/3 cup cheese, dressing mix and garlic powder. Moisten chicken with water; coat evenly with cheese mixture. Place in single layer in shallow pan sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 20 to 25 min. or until chicken is done (165°F).
  • Meanwhile, cook pasta in large saucepan as directed on package; drain and set aside. Add sauce to saucepan; cook on medium-low heat 5 to 6 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally. Reserve 3/4 cup sauce. Add pasta to remaining sauce; mix lightly.
  • Spoon pasta mixture onto 6 plates; top with chicken, reserved sauce, basil and remaining cheese.

Special Extra

For a golden appearance, after chicken is cooked through set oven to Broil. Place pan of chicken 6 inches from heat source. Broil 2 to 4 min. or until chicken is golden brown.

Keeping it Safe

Place frozen chicken under cold running water to thaw. Be sure to use cold water and keep the chicken in its original wrap or place in water-tight resealable plastic bag while thawing it. Also, be careful not to cross-contaminate other food products, work surfaces or utensils with the dripping water.

Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Definitely yummy, but not AMAZING. Definitely yummy, but not AMAZING. I added broccoli florets to cook with the pasta and wilted some spinach in with the sauce before tossing together. I also cut my chicken into cubes before tossing with the seasoning to make the chicken stretch further. Very yummy, and very fresh, which is what I was looking for in this very cold, gloomy, and blah January.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chicken was super quick and easy to prepare, turned out delicious! Chicken was super quick and easy to prepare, turned out delicious! I'm a huge fan of the Good Seasonings dressing line, so I was extremely excited to try this recipe! I made homemade pasta sauce to replace jar of sauce. I'm an Italian Girl, so homemade sauce is a must for me, however the chicken was scrumptious! I will make this again in the near future!

I made this one last night but instead of pasta I made it with mashed potatos and corn. It was excellent. My boyfriend, who is probably the pickiest person I know, even loved it and ironcially enought he asked me to make it with "the spiral pasta" next time. That'll teach me to swith things up.
