  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix meat, stuffing mix, water, eggs and 1/4 cup of the barbecue sauce.
  • Shape meat mixture into four oval loaves. Place, side-by-side, in foil-lined shallow baking pan. Top with the remaining 1/4 cup barbecue sauce.
  • Bake 30 min. or until cooked through (160°F). Cut each meatloaf in half to serve.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with a small baked potato and a side salad. Just toss a 10-oz. bag of salad greens with 1/2 cup of your favorite KRAFT Dressing, such as Zesty Italian, then divide among eight salad plates.

Note

For best results, prepare using lean varieties of ground beef, such as ground round or ground sirloin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Weird ingredients right? Weird ingredients right? I thought so, one word for this? PERFECT! I will recommend this recipe for anyone who likes meatloaf and to anyone that doesn't. I have a staple meatloaf recipe that my family really likes but I am always on the lookout for a new recipe that will make my life a little easier, this is one of the great ones. I thought the ingredients looked a little odd but this was the perfect blend to make the perfect meatloaf. The only thing I changed was the cook time, I followed other reviewers advice and cooked for 45 minutes at the same temp. I used the savory and herb blend stuffing from Stove Top and put about 1/4 cup more of bbque sauce in the meat mix itself to make it 'juicier'. Try it, you will like it! Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My recipe for this is very simular. My recipe for this is very simular. Instead of barbecue sauce I use ketchup I also add 1/4 cup parmision cheese, 1/2 tsp. garlic pepper and a splash of worchestershire sauce. Instead of using water I soak the stove top bread cubes in 1 cup of milk for 5 minutes before adding to the meat. Another hint is if you sprinkle tenderizer in the meat mixture it will seal in the juices and keep the meat loaf very moist. This recipe is superb if I say so myself!

Instead of putting the stuffing in with the meat...how about stuffing the meatloaf with the stuffing. Place half the meatloaf in pan, pat down...place stuffing on top leaving a 1' space all around to place the rest of the meatloaf on top & seal edges with the stuffing in the middle. Make a beef or chicken gravy. It's deliscious!!! A recipe from my grandmother.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I added onions, bell peppers and garlic. I added onions, bell peppers and garlic. It was even better as left overs! Will make again and again and again. The stuffing mix adds the perfect blend of spices along with the onions, garlic and peppers. Not too mushy and not too dry. Just perfect. My husband loved it and so did I.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the best meat loaf recipe. This is the best meat loaf recipe. I used stove top chicken stuffing because i ran out of pork stove stuffing and I even liked it better. My kids didn't like the way I use to make it, but they'll eat it now. They don't like the barbeque sauce on top, but my husband and I do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this meatloaf recipe. I love this meatloaf recipe. It's very, very easy and equally delicious. The second loaf makes the best meatloaf sandwiches for lunch the next day. This is the only meatloaf I make anymore. HINT: A little more BBQ sauce in the mix makes it more juicy.
