Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe was so much faster than how I normally make it. This recipe was so much faster than how I normally make it. I was skeptical about the frozen mixed veggies because they're usually not my favorite, but it turned out hearty and delish! I did add a bit of crushed garlic and sauted some frozen onions in with the browned hamburger to give some richness and depth of flavor. This will definitely become a weekly staple for me and the left overs are even better than when you first cook it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Amazing!! My husband and I loved it!! I put onions in with the ground beef and I put beef stock instead of the gravy because I didn't have any on hand. I'm going to make it with the gravy next time... but the broth was really good too! I would make this if I were you, it's sooo good! Also, I made homemade mashed potatoes as I hate boxed.. It turned out amazing! :) Thank you so much! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So easy, soooo good. So easy, soooo good. My family loves this, and we have it at least two or three times a month (more often in the cooler months). We only use a regular size bag of mixed veggies (4 cups sounds crazy.. Is it a typo?) and we use 4-cheese instant potatoes (and only today noticed the suggestion about omitting the milk, which-obviously-we've never done). Great recipe, thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have made this recipe for the first time last year and my husband loved it. I have made this recipe for the first time last year and my husband loved it. I added a small onion when browning the hamburger. I also used Ore Ida frozen mashed potatoes which are much better than instant potatoes. Used frozen peas and carrot mix along with Swanson beef gravy. Left off the cheese. Quick, easy, and good for leftovers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's one of my go to recipes forever. It's one of my go to recipes forever. I make several batches at one time and freeze for use later. My husband actually asked for it for his "Birthday Dinner"! Can you say "satified"! My friends will even stop by for leftovers! Comfort food at it's best! I spike the gravy with a little more beef bouillon for a richer flavor.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I made this for my husband and me and we both liked it a lot. I made this for my husband and me and we both liked it a lot. I doubled the recipe so I could make two dishes and freeze one. The only difficulty I ran into was the mashed potatoes. I had to add some milk to them to make them the right consistency. Other than that, this is a easy and yummy meal!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My boyfriend always asks me to make this. My boyfriend always asks me to make this. I was never really a fan of shephard's pie until I made this recipe. I use instant garlic potatoes instead of the regular mashed, add sauteed onions with the hamburger, and use frozen peas and carrots since I don't like mixed veggies. It's fabulous!
