Ratings & Reviews

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I used a slightly larger roast so I increased the A-1 to 1/3 cup. I used a slightly larger roast so I increased the A-1 to 1/3 cup. I also ended up using fire roasted diced tomatoes because that is what I had on hand. I cooked it on low all day. The meat fell apart. Served with a baked potato and a Caesar salad - it was a real hit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greate! Greate! I did, however, change it a bit since I didn't have the beef. I used a small pork roast instead. Since I didn't think that A-1 sauce would do very well with pork I used a BBQ sauce that is sweet. It turned out great. Will use this one again.

I love Oven Swiss steak, but haven't found a recipe that compares to my moms....until now. This recipe is not only delicious, but easy as well. I added fresh chopped carrots just like moms and it just was fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We loved this. We loved this. I added some frozen green beans on top just because we love green beans. It was super quick to put together and the ease of slowcooking. If you love the taste of A1 sauce you will love this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This recipe is just ok. This recipe is just ok. The meat gets very tender, but the taste is too strong. It basically tastes like A1. If you really like the taste of just A1, you will like this. Nothing great.
