What You Need

2-2/3

cups cooked brown rice

cup sliced fresh mushrooms

cup spaghetti sauce

cup KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese, divided

green peppers, tops removed, seeded

Make It

HEAT oven to 400°F.

COMBINE rice, mushrooms, spaghetti sauce and 3/4 cup cheese.

STAND peppers in 2-qt. baking dish. Fill with rice mixture; cover.

BAKE 30 to 35 min. or until peppers are crisp-tender and filling is heated through. Top with remaining cheese; bake 5 min. or until melted.

I had some rice mixture left over so I put the rest in small serving dishes and baked them along side the peppers I also added cooked veggies to the rice.. This was wonderful tasting.. again you never fail me Kraft~~

My family really enjoyed the recipe. I happened to have Zatteran's jumbalya mix on hand and stuffed the peppers with that. added a little more spaghetti sauce and cheese and presto! excellent. I will try it again adding the ground turkey. Thanks!

This is my go to recipe when making stuffed peppers. It's simple and doesn't require any preboiling of the peppers. I love to add to my stuffing with sausage, ground beef, garlic... all kinds of stuff - this recipe is a great base!

Very good!! I doubled the recipe and also used half the rice and a pound of ground beef.

Awesome!I also used ground beef and cut the amount of rice in 1/2. So easy on a busy weeknight... make ahead and then bake. It also freezes well.

It was very easy and everyone loved them. I chopped a hababero pepper to add to a few of the peppers and added chesse on top of others.
