  • Heat oven to 400°F.
  • Mix meat, stuffing mix, eggs, onions and water just until blended. Shape into 32 meatballs, each about 1 inch in diameter. Place in 2 foil-lined 13x9-inch pans sprayed with cooking spray.
  • Bake 20 min. or until done (160ºF).
  • Mix gravy and sour cream in large saucepan. Add meatballs; stir to evenly coat. Cook on low heat 5 min. or until sauce is heated through, stirring occasionally.

Serving Suggestion

Spoon each serving of this tasty entrée over 1/2 cup hot cooked egg noodles. Serve with 1/2 cup cooked green beans.

My husband loved it as much as I did. I had read all the reviews before making this, and due to some of the suggestions, I decided to double the sauce ingredients. Glad I did, 'cause I agree the sauce probably would not have been enough. I used a family size can of cream of mushroom soup (26 oz.) and 1 cup of the sour cream instead of 1/2 cup. It was the just right amount needed and was so very tasty. Thanks again Kraft for another very enjoyable dinner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! Wow! This was delicious! I also had to come back to rate this recipe, per previous ratings. I also suggest making a double batch of sauce. But the meatballs are the best I have made. This is my new dish for company. My husband and I are competitive in the kitchen. He is a great cook, but with this recipe so am I! It is so hard to believe that a box of Stove Top (I like Stove Top) is the base for the flavor. I am going to make this again this weekend! Also, use some non-stick spray on the foil before you put the meatballs in the oven. ENJOY!

For the meatballs, I used bread crumbs purchased from the store instead of stove top stuffing. The bread crumbs come in all flavors and are already seasoned well. I also added cheese and onion along with the egg. For the sauce, I listened to other suggestions and used cream of mushroom soup and milk along with a jar of turkey gravy and sour cream to stretch the gravy and make it creamier. Absolutely perfect over rice.

I substituted ground turkey for the beef and turkey stuffing mix but still used beef gravy. I added some basic adobe seasoning and black pepper to the mix. My staff took some home to her kids and they loved it as well. Making it for my own family and they are already salivating!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from this is a delicious quick fix my family adores although i will admit it to be quite plain if you... this is a delicious quick fix my family adores although i will admit it to be quite plain if you salt pepper and add a pinch of garlic powder to the meat as well as onion powder garlic powder as well as salt and pepper it was almost as good as grandma... with a hungry husband and three kids you need quick good and filling... oh yeah i found if you add chopped bell pepper and fry it with the onions before adding it to the meat it makes it moister and more delicious..

I made this the other night for my family, and my husband thought he had died and went to food heaven! I too used the mushroom gravy mix, and added sauteed mushrooms to the gravy (as my husband is a huge fungus fan!) I also doubled the amount of creamy mushroom sauce. I seved over egg noodles, and steamed aspargus on the side. What a delightful and easy dinner!! My husband even asked me when I was going to make it again!

I'm not much of a cook and yet everyone will "ooh" and "ahh" over these meatballs. I did, however, substitute for fat free gravy, fat free sour cream, and lean ground turkey for a lighter version. I also substituted the water with low sodium beef broth. It still tasted great and I have made them several times for parties or over whole wheat pasta. Thanks for the recipe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Every where I take these meatballs, people ask me for the recipe. Every where I take these meatballs, people ask me for the recipe. I find that if I add shredded mozzarella cheese and some spices like italian seasoning, it really adds to the flavor. I use tin foil in the pans so the meatballs don't stick. I keep playing with variations of the recipe - shredded cheddar and monteray cheeses work well with a BBQ sauce. The sky is the limit with this great base recipe!
