  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, brown meat in large skillet; drain.
  • Drain pasta; spoon into 3-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray. Add meat, pasta sauce, tomatoes, 1-1/2 cups mozzarella and 1 Tbsp. basil; mix well. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  • Bake 20 min. or until heated through. Sprinkle with remaining basil.


Substitute your favorite pasta shape for the rigatoni.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very easy & quick I made this dish late tonight, by just seeing the ingredients on the label with a coupon on the ground meat I was looking at the grocery store. I was just grabbing some ground meat to make some hamburgers when I seen the coupon. Turns out I made a good decision at last minute. Takes about three steps to cook & it's done. Simple, quick & very inexpensive, just what I like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, but too much pasta This had a good flavor, and was an easy, basic recipe, but I thought it had too much pasta for the meat sauce ratio. Next time I would use only 10 - 12 oz. pasta, and 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef.
