What You Need

cups medium pasta shells, uncooked

tsp. oil

yellow onion, chopped

red pepper, chopped

pkg. (1.25 oz.) TACO BELL® Taco Seasoning Mix

can (14.5 oz.) no-salt-added diced tomatoes, undrained

cups OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Oven Roasted Chicken Breast

can (15 oz.) no-salt-added black beans, rinsed

green onions, thinly sliced, divided

1/3

cup chopped fresh cilantro, divided

pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Mexican Style Shredded Four Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

COOK pasta as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium heat. Add yellow onions and peppers; cook 3 to 5 min. or until crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Stir in seasoning mix and tomatoes; cook and stir 3 min. Add chicken, beans and half each of the green onions and cilantro; mix well. Remove from heat.

DRAIN pasta. Add to chicken mixture; mix lightly. Pour into 13x9-inch baking dish; top with cheese.

BAKE 20 to 25 min. or until pasta mixture is heated through and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with remaining green onions and cilantro.

I made this last night while babysitting and my guys seemed to like it. I used ground turkey in place of chicken.My son said he'd eat it again. And that's high praise!

In addition to original recipe, add the following: 1 can Ro-Tel Original tomatoes, 1/2 cup corn, 1 can sliced black olives, 1 can cheddar soup. Lowered dried pasta to 3 cups. Served with sour cream. Now, it is perfect for our taste.

While it was good, it could have used a little more flavor - perhaps some roasted chicken.

Only two of us, so halved the recipe, and used the whole can of diced tomatoes like someone else suggested. It was very good and just the right amount of tomatoes. Was not sure if the 1 red pepper was supposed to be a red chili pepper or red bell pepper. So I used a bit of each kind, as I have a lot of both in my garden this time of year so any way to use them is great. It was great for a crowd, had a lot of flavor. I did put in the two cans of tomatoes to make sure it wasn't dry - it wasn't. :)

THIS RECIPE IS A KEEPER. I DIDN'T HAVE THE 4 CHEESE WITH THE PHILLY CHEESE STUFF, BUT ADDED MY OWN CHEESES AND A TOUCH OF SOUR CREAM. THE CILANTRO AND GREEN ONIONS ADD A FRESH TOUCH. I ALSO ADDED SLICED BLACK OLIVES. IT WAS GONE BEFORE I COULD GET SECONDS!

This was WONDERFUL!! I used 3 cooked chicken breasts and 2 cans of Rotel which added a lot more flavor but was NOT that spicy instead of diced tomatoes and 2 pkgs of cheese. Also, I mixed one package of cheese in the pasta mixture and used one package of cheese for the topping.
