The "Not very good" rating for this recipe is still too high of a rating but that was the lowest I could choose from. I have no idea what on earth this mess turned into. The noodles were mushy, the chicken got way overcooked and if you don't stir it extremely well the cheese powder stays clumped on the vegetables and chicken. I would suggest making the mac and cheese and then stirring in chopped up chicken, veggies and extra cheese afterwards. This ALL went in the garbage.

I had some chicken breast left over from our Super Bowl party and thought about cooking them for dinner. I had no idea of what to cook so I searched kraft foods.com and found this recipe. I added in frozen broccoli and chopped up the chicken breast. Everybody really enjoyed it and I didn't have to worry about three-day-old leftovers. :) I would recommend this recipe to everyone.

I made this exactly by the book and although my boyfriend enjoyed it, I couldn't handle two bites of it. To me, it was bland, mushy and pasty and I pretty much lost my appetite after eating this. There was just something off about it. Needs more spices or something. Someone who reviewed this described it perfectly by simply saying 'something's missing'.

Since I did not have cheddar cheese in house used mozzarella instead and it came out great. Thanks for your magazine - I use it every month and made sure all my family and friends get it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This turned out better than I thought it would. This turned out better than I thought it would. The noodles were creamy and the chicken was surprisingly tender. My kids don't like anything green so I used corn as the vegetable. My 4 yr old said that it was really good! As an added bonus, this was an extremely quick and easy meal to make.

I was worried about the noodles not cooking right because of previous ratings but this was not a problem. Also, make sure you add the water first, then slowly stir in cheese packet. I added Broccoli & corn, pretty good!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This recipe is lacking flavor. This recipe is lacking flavor. I agree with the previous post that it would be better to make the mac & cheese and then stir in the chicken and veggies. The mac & cheese tastes very bland compared to when you make it using the directions on the box.
