"Eyeball" Cupcakes

Great Cupcakes! Easy to Make! I made them for my son's class. See my posted photo #3. I used Devil's food cake mix. The choc. pudding mix does add so much to the cake. I made 1 extra cupcake for my husband and I to taste and we so wanted more and couldn't get over how great they looked. Those who complained they don't look like eyeballs please see my pic # 3. Place them together in the tray and they definitely look like eyeballs. I thought so even without putting them together. Going to make a 2nd batch for my son's Tae Kwon Do Halloween party. I bought a larger red cookie frosting and it worked well. Does take a little time to decorate but so satisfying with the outcome. First time I did anything like this and I'm so giddy. Sorry, but the thought of eating an "eyeball" (even if it is cake) is disgusting! In my opinion, this is not cute.

This was an easy recipe; however, the cupcakes do not store well. I used red hots instead of m&ms for the pupils and they were very grainy. They only looked like eyeballs when placing side by side

I left out the pudding mix because the cake mix already had pudding in the mix

i made this recipe for my daughter and her second grade class they really liked them plan to do it again next year.

I made these for a Halloween get-together and they were a huge hit! Really fun - I will make them for Halloween again and again.

Sooo cute and easy to make! I used white cake mix and vanilla instant pudding instead of chocolate and they were great. Everyone loved them!
