    This recipe is an interesting concept for the treatment of a hot dog. However, it lacked any type of Southwestern flair: it was totally bland. I even upped the chili powder to 3/4 tsp. and added about 3/8 tsp. of ground black pepper. Also added some Parmesan cheese on top of the pepper mixture before rolling everything up. Still tasted like bell peppers and hot dogs--no noticeable Southwestern flavor.
