Family Classic Meatloaf

This comes together really quickly. I use two pounds of beef and, on the advice of others, I use less than a whole pkg of stuffing mix. The tomato soup/chili sauce mix is a nice change from ketchup.

I made this recipe for my family twice now - they ate every last bite! They said it was their favorite recipe. :)

My cousin recommended this recipe since I've never made meatloaf before and was looking for an easy recipe. It definitely was easy, but it wasn't what I would consider a "typical" tasting meatloaf. I love bread, but it was a little too bread-y for a meatloaf. There were also more onions than I like. It was still definitely edible, so I gave it three stars, but I wouldn't make it again. My husband liked it even less than me (he said there was too much bread, not enough meat flavor.) I think I would have liked it when I was a kid though!

I made this recipe for my first meatloaf I've ever made. It was really simple and delicious. I only put in half the stuffing package and it still came out delicious and very moist. My husband said he had no complaints!

meatloaf is delicious. Although I agree with other reviewers that using ketchup is probably more tasty than using the chili sauce...

Meatloaf had little flavor. I won't make it again.

I was expecting awesome but got pretty good. It was so easy to just add the package of stuffing mix instead of chasing around for ingredients but the meatloaf turned out way too bready. I will use a whole can of soup and half the package of stuffing next time and less chopped onion. The topping with the chili sauce and soup had a unique flavor but I will probably use ketchup next time.

I make this recipe, But I add chopped green pepper and lots of chopped onion, adding only about 1/4 cup of the Stovetop Dressing because I like to watch the caloric intake. Instead of the chili sauce which sounds good, I open a can of stewed, chopped tomatoes and add a little Worchestershire sauce heated and served with the meatloaf. Delicious!

Very good and so easy to make. I used ketchup instead of chili sauce! It turned out great.
