As many different meatloaf recipes as I've tried, except for me, my family hates meatloaf----until now!! I used ketchup instead of bbq sauce and added a small, finely chopped onion. For the topping, I used tomato sauce, topped with 3 bacon slices and sprinkled with brown sugar. The topping carmelizes and adds the same sweetness as bbq sauce, but without the smoky flavor that many bbq sauces have. This recipe was DELICIOUS!! Even my little granddaughter, who is very picky, said she loved the meat at this meal! Thanks for my new meatloaf recipe!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband hates meatloaf, so I don't fix it. My husband hates meatloaf, so I don't fix it. This recipe looked very interesting & I was craving meatloaf. I did add my own touch:1/2 lb ground pork, the whole can of soup, 2 eggs, 1 can of mushrooms, Italian seasonings & ketchup. My husband & son loved it!!! I served it with backed potatoes, a vegetable & sourdough bread. There was enough for sandwiches & a casserole (meatloaf, mashed potatoes & corn). I haven't cooked for quite awhile. I'm starting again with your Kraft recipes. So far my family & I have loved everything I've made. Thank you for the quick & easy meals.

My cousin recommended this recipe since I've never made meatloaf before and was looking for an easy recipe. It definitely was easy, but it wasn't what I would consider a "typical" tasting meatloaf. I love bread, but it was a little too bread-y for a meatloaf. There were also more onions than I like. It was still definitely edible, so I gave it three stars, but I wouldn't make it again. My husband liked it even less than me (he said there was too much bread, not enough meat flavor.) I think I would have liked it when I was a kid though!

Here's what I used in this recipe: 1 lb ground sirloin 1 can condensed tomato soup 6 oz Savory Herb stuffing mix, finely crushed 1 egg lightly beaten Then I followed the directions, putting it in the pan and cooking at 350 for 55 minutes. This is the best meatloaf I've ever eaten! My 4 year old daughter LOVED it and I can't ever get her to eat hamburger. She wants it all the time and begged me to send it to school with her for lunch! You've got to try this recipe, it does deserve 5 stars!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I don't know what I did wrong, since most of the reveiws were good. I don't know what I did wrong, since most of the reveiws were good. Instead of the tomato soup,I used tamato paste since my husband prefers that on meatloaf. Instead of using a loaf pan, I formed it into one in a 9x13. Juices kept running out during cooking time and I had to cook it 30 min. longer because it still wasn't done. Afterall, my husband said it didn't taste like meatloaf at all and didn't like it. I didn't care for it much either. I'm still looking for that one great meatloaf recipe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The second time I made this, I used 2 lbs. The second time I made this, I used 2 lbs. of ground beef. Using 2 eggs and a whole can of tomato soup mixed with 1/4 cup of chili sauce adding this to the other ingredients. Then I made another batch of sauce, using one whole can of tomato soup mixed with chili sauce, I spread some on top before baking and heated the rest to use after the meatloaf was done to pour over the sliceded meatloaf for serving. Perfect...My husband loves to take this everday for lunch.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Haven't made meatloaf in some time & decided to look at your different recipes. Haven't made meatloaf in some time & decided to look at your different recipes. After reviewing 2 pages of comments, I decided to try this one. It was horrible. All I could taste was the Stove Top Stuffing. I went to the meat counter & got exactly 1 & 1/2 lbs of ground sirloin & followed the recipe to the T. Hopefully, I will find someone that likes it, so it will not be wasted. I love Kraft's recipes & this is the first time one did not work for me.
