Family-Size Pizza Calzone

Mozzarella, pepperoni and pizza sauce are enveloped in refrigerated pizza crusts baked to a golden crisp in this family-pleasing calzone.

What You Need

cans (10 oz. each) refrigerated pizza crusts

1/2

cup pizza sauce

pkg. (8 oz.) KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided

1-1/2

oz. sliced OSCAR MAYER Pepperoni

1/3

cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Make It

HEAT oven to 375°F.

UNROLL 1 pizza crust onto greased baking sheet; pat to 12x10-inch rectangle.

SPREAD with pizza sauce to within 1 inch of edges; top with half the mozzarella, pepperoni and remaining mozzarella. Reserve 1 Tbsp. Parmesan; sprinkle remaining Parmesan over mozzarella. Cover with second pizza crust; crimp edges with fork to seal. Sprinkle with reserved Parmesan.

BAKE 25 to 30 min. or until evenly browned. Let stand 5 min. before cutting to serve.

Substitute chopped fresh vegetables, such as green peppers, red peppers, broccoli or onions, for the pepperoni.

I used more toppings and it came out wonderful. I used the thin pizza crust.

My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe! We only made it with pepperoni and cheese this time, but we will add more toppings next time!

I used the pizza crust mix that you mix with water (it was about 75 cents per pack and I used 2 packs). For the filling, I used italian turkey sausage (2 larger links), peppers, a little pepperoni, and of course cheese. I also baked it on a round pizza pan. My crust only took about 18 mins to cook. I oiled the bottom of the pan so the bottom browned too. My husband, his friend, and I all loved it. Will definitely make it again and try new filings but the turkey sausage in there was delicious!

Quick and easy. Slightly difficult for the bottom crust to completly cook. Will make again!

My husband loves this recipe. Instead of using the basic pizza dough I buy the Pillsbury crescent recipe creations. It gives it a flaky crust. I don't put the sauce inside the calzone either. I use garlic butter instead and use the sauce for dipping.
