As written, not a winner for me. BUT... if you just change it up a bit, it easily becomes five stars. First, please consider using low-fat (not non-fat) cream cheese. It adds a few calories, but is well worth every one of them in taste and texture. Also, be sure to add some almond extract. You will miss it if you don't. And I've made this several times with my changes and this last time I didn't have lady fingers or pound cake (a great alternative to LF's) but I did have Nilla Wafers and decided to use them Wow! What a great flavor. Once soaked in the coffee, they soften and add a great texture and taste!
