  • Cook and stir bacon in large saucepan on medium heat until crisp. Remove from pan; drain on paper towels. Discard drippings from pan.
  • Return half the bacon to pan. Stir in wieners and ham; cook 1 to 2 min. or until lightly browned. Add onions, garlic, bay leaf and thyme; cook 5 min. or until onions are crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Add beans and broth; simmer 20 min., stirring occasionally. Discard bay leaf.
  • Serve feijoada topped with remaining bacon, tomatoes and cilantro.

Serving Suggestion

Serve with hot cooked white rice.


Substitute 1 Tbsp. dried thyme leaves for the chopped fresh thyme.
