Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a wonderful and easy receipe to make! This is a wonderful and easy receipe to make! I did make some changes to suit my needs and this is what I did... I used frozen tortellini instead of refrigerated... I used whipping cream instead of milk, and my family hates peas so we used frozen broccoli instead! It can be bland unless you add some seasoning to the creamcheese/whipping cream mixture... I haven't found it to be runny at all with the whipping cream... and I use more tortellini than what the receipe calls for... with all boys this receipe wouldn't feed them much so I had to add more pasta & ham to mine... it's all good though! :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from i loved this recipe! i loved this recipe! however...i did make some alterations. someone commented that the sauce was bland. So i took someone's advice and used garlic and herb cream cheese. also, in order to make the sauce creamier, i used whole whipping cream instead of milk. the pasta was delicious! and the sauce was perfect. i used a grated (REAL) parmasean cheese in the recipe, and grated some on top when i was done. delicious. i probably wouldn't use regular cream cheese to make this...but i would definitely make this again. yum.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Both my husband and I enjoyed this dish. Both my husband and I enjoyed this dish. I used half and half instead of milk because many comments said it was runny. I think that the milk would have been fine as this was a little too dry. I cooked the sauce before adding the other ingredients and this may have helped to thicken and to get the ingredients incorporated (cream cheese melted, etc). I used shrimp instead of ham and used a roasted garlic tortellini. Otherwise, it would have been very bland.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This recipe was absolutely wonderful. This recipe was absolutely wonderful. I sautéed mushrooms then made the sauce. I like my pasta saucy, so I added the whole block of cream cheese and 2 cups of heaving whipping cream versus milk. I also doubled the amount of parmesan cheese. The results were wonderful. My husband usually complains about Italian food, but was very happy with this recipe. Next time, I might try prosciutto versus ham for a more authentic Italian taste.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This was just a so so dinner. This was just a so so dinner. I also thought the sauce was a little runny but heated thicker when left over. To me it was a little bland. I added minced garlic, and italian spices but the dish still needed more flavor. It was fast and easy however, I think my next try I may make it with whipping cream rather than milk. It may be that sweet alfredo taste that I think the dish is missing This was a great week night meal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not bad, sauce does seem runny at first but thickens a little with heating. Not bad, sauce does seem runny at first but thickens a little with heating. As for the blandness everyone mentions, just remember, Kraft almost never tells you to season with salt and pepper. I used leftover ham instead of the sliced that the recipe calls for. I did use a 16oz. bag of peas (2 cups) but it does seem to be a few too many. If they are not your favorite, I would use a 10 oz. box of peas instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I really liked this recipe because I just love cheesy foods! I really liked this recipe because I just love cheesy foods! I used canned peas since that is what I had on hand. They were kind of mushed in there but it still tasted great. I might try the frozen ones next time so it looks better. It was the perfect blend of taste for me and my sister. So simple to throw together. Also, it taste great as a leftover for lunch the next day. We just loved it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We thought this was very good. We thought this was very good. It did need some spices though, so I added some garlic salt and onion powder, and I used Kraft's shredded parmesan instead of grated. I also cut up a ham steak because we like our ham chunky plus it's more flavorful than the lunchmeat ham. Overall, it was quick and easy to make, with minimal clean up and prep time. We'll be making this again!!!
