I love this recipe except for one thing the one that my family has been using for years only calls for 3 tablespoons of Jell-o. SO they are not as hard. We make them for Halloween using orange, grape and lime. For Christmas we use Strawberry and Lime. For the Fourth of July Berry-blue and cherry. Using only the 3 tablespoons a small pkg of Jell-O will make three recipes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have enjoyed since 1960. Have enjoyed since 1960. Raspberry & Lime are best, add drops of coloring to deepen color. Clean sink, cover stopper w/ saran wrap, spray sink & hands! -- blend there for easiest cleanup. I still prefer melting marshmallows in double boiler. Wrap red in red s_wrap, green in green s_wrap, tie w/ opposite colored ribbon. Best gifts ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made this for my daughter's birthday and she loved it. Made this for my daughter's birthday and she loved it. I added 1 cup of fruity pebbles with the popcorn. Also, after I mixed the marshmellow into the popcorn, I let the mixture set for about 5 minutes before forming the balls. It made it much easier, although a good dose of Pam on your hands is highly recommended!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This receipe was easy to make, but I didn't like the jello flavor on popcorn. This receipe was easy to make, but I didn't like the jello flavor on popcorn. I will use the receipe again, but will use a couple of drops of food coloring in the melted marshmallow mix instead of jello. I wet my hands under the faucet every couple of balls and had NO sticky mess at all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a favorite in our home... This is a favorite in our home... so easy and super delicious. I spray my hands with cooking spray before forming the balls so they don't get sticky. After making the balls I wrap them individually in wax paper and twist the ends.
