Pour first layer of prepared gelatin into serving dish or mold. Refrigerate until set, but not firm, before adding the next layer. Except for the first layer, the gelatin mixtures should be cool and slightly thickened before pouring over the chilled layer.
To make JELL-O Gelatin that is clear and uniformly set, be sure the gelatin is completely dissolved in the boiling water before adding the cold liquid. Stirring with a rubber spatula will help ensure that all the crystals are dissolved.
Dip dish in warm water for about 15 sec. Gently pull gelatin from around edges with moist fingers. Place serving plate on top of dish. Invert dish and plate together, shaking dish slightly to loosen. Remove dish.
