Festive Strawberry-Nut Salad Recipe

What You Need

1/2

cup PLANTERS Sliced Almonds

3

Tbsp. sugar

2

cups packed fresh spinach leaves

2

cups packed Boston lettuce

2

cups halved fresh strawberries

1/3

cup KRAFT Creamy Poppyseed Dressing

Make It

COOK and stir nuts and sugar in nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 min. or until sugar is caramelized and nuts are evenly glazed. Spread onto baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray; cool. Break into small pieces.

COMBINE spinach, lettuce and berries in large bowl.

DRIZZLE with dressing just before serving; toss to coat. Top with nuts.

For a fruity change, substitute tart fresh raspberries or sliced peeled fresh peaches for the strawberries.

Special Extra

Serve on chilled plates.

This was very good, but some green onions would have made it even better... It needs a little something to cut through the sweetness...

Great Salad...made it exactly as it says and taste excellent. Have done it for 2 or 3 times already...had it with an avocado sandwich mmmm :)

This recipe is a refreshing change of pace from potato or macaroni salads. I get numerous compliments & recipe requests. To make this dish even simpler, use packaged honey glazed sliced almonds available in the produce section.

I tried this recipe for a weekend get together with my friends. It was DIVINE. the caramelized almonds take this salad to a whole another level. Would Highly recommend it.

I've made this salad recipe several times now. I've even used different types of lettuce. I've always gotten a lot of compliments on it and everyone asks for the recipe. I recommend it highly!!

This was absolutely delish--without a doubt one of the best salads I've ever had. Extremely sweet, but very very good.

This salad is GREAT!! This winter I made a similar version to take to a Christmas party. I used grapes instead of strawberries and walnuts instead of almonds and it tasted great, too!
