Balsamic vinegar glaze can be purchased at your local grocery store, but is also easy to make at home. Cook 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar with 1 Tbsp. brown sugar in a small saucepan on medium heat 13 to 15 min. or until thickened, stirring frequently. (Reduction should be the consistency of syrup and coat the back of the spoon.) Cool completely. Store in tightly covered container in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Caramelized onions can be made ahead of time. Store in refrigerator up to 2 days before using as directed.
