I used canned diced tomatoes with basil/oregano seasoning added, instead of chopping the tomatoes myself. This was good, but make sure you drain them WELL - there was a little too much liquid at the bottom of the serving bowl. Other than that, this recipe is really, really good. It took just a few minutes for it to disappear at a pot-luck. I served it with Ritz Crisps instead of pita chips - good mix of sweet and savory.

Pretty good, however here in Peru we make everything fresh out of the orchard so to speak, and here I see most of the recipes have ready made tomato sauce, ready made mayonnaise, ready made feta mix, ready made everything. I am more into organic and natural food products which I make on my own so I am not really into Philadelphia or Kraft recipes I prefer the natural stuff. Thank-you.

I altered this recipe a little by using a couple of fresh roma tomatoes and omitting the olives. I also drizzled a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar on it. My husband nearly ate the whole bowl by himself.
