I made this recipe with two pounds of chicken breast tenderloins (rather than breasts) and served them as appetizers/finger food at a cookout. Using the tenderloins, they cooked up very quickly and easily, and were enjoyed by everyone. I chose to use two packs of taco seasoning for my two pounds of chicken, but I would not recommend this and will not do it again. The taco taste was just a bit too strong; one packet would have been plenty. They were still very good and very quick and easy, and I will make them again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good! Good! Next time I'll make sure to use a different taco seasoning. The organic blend packet that I used was SUPER spicy. I think I would have rather put it in a bowl and just dipped the chicken too. I thought chicken tenderloins worked well for this recipe and I will definitely hold onto it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My family loves this recipe! My family loves this recipe! I've made it several times, even in a skillet when we were camping and it was too rainy to grill. I recently made this for nine hungry girl scouts over an open campfire and they said it was the best chicken they'd ever had. Definitely a keeper!

I baked this chicken instead of grilling and put it in whole wheat tortillas for burritos...and it turned out great. The bbq sauce and taco seasoning mixture has a really great flavor. I recommend it to anyone who wants to "kick up" boring grilled or baked chicken.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was quick, easy, and tastes great. This was quick, easy, and tastes great. Though, if you are using big chicken breast halves, I would recommend using more taco seasoning. Maybe 1 1/2 packets. Other than that, definitely try it.
