Actually, I had my son (15) make this with my supervision (sitting at the table do my crossstitch), I have a rule in my house that my son and I take turns cooking and the other does the dishes, needless to say Mom usually spends more time looking for easy fast and nutritious meals for him to make and this was right up there -- he loved it and raved what a great cook he now is... thanks to you I could agree with him -- this time! Thanks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My whole family liked this recipe. My whole family liked this recipe. I added frozen corn and used a can of red kidney beans instead of black beans and also I used the taco seasoning idea...instead of taco sauce(because I didn't have it.) We put cheese on top and crushed corn chips in it. Next time we will also top with sour cream!! YUM!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very quick and easy. Very quick and easy. To make it even lower in fat use Maverick beef, it only has 5 grams of fat per serving. Also be sure that the bottom of the pan doesn't burn. That happend the first time I made this and it left a slight taste in the meal. You can also top with light cheddar cheese for additional taste.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is very similar to a recipe my husband and I love. This is very similar to a recipe my husband and I love. I cook a box of Kraft macaroni as directed while browning 1 lb of ground beef. When both are done, I add them together with 1 can chili beans (unrinsed, in medium sauce), and a few spoonfuls of salsa con queso. Easy and yummy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We really liked this recipe. We really liked this recipe. It was easy to make and tasty. It was a little unerving, however, putting an entire bottle of taco sauce and salsa into the pot. But the yield was high, so the meal was still less expensive than eating out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was very good. This was very good. I hadn't had chili mac since I was a kid! This was a great reminder. I would use a little less water, the sauce was too thin to me. But definitely serve with cornbread. Or even Mexican cornbread.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'VE MADE THIS DISH SEVERAL TIMES AND EACH TIME I CHANGE IT A LITTLE. I'VE MADE THIS DISH SEVERAL TIMES AND EACH TIME I CHANGE IT A LITTLE. I COOK THE MACARONI SEPARATE, BUT MAY ADD FROZEN OR MEXICAN CORN, OLIVES, CHEESE, ONION AND OR TACO SEASONING. IT'S A CROWD PLEASER EACH TIME.
