  • Mix stuffing mix, water, mayo, fish, add-ins and 1/2 cup vegetables. Shape into 12 patties, using about 1/3 cup stuffing mixture for each patty. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  • Cook patties, in batches, in large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat 6 min. or until golden brown on both sides, turning carefully after 3 min.

Patties can be shaped ahead of time. Refrigerate up to 24 hours before cooking as directed.

How to Make Same-Size Patties

Use a hamburger press to make evenly sized patties.

Serving Suggestion

    My family liked these. But like others have said, the patties fell apart. And I could not taste the salmon. I love the help other commenters provide. I will take their advice and add an egg and another can of salmon next time. Also, some people complained about the bones and skin on the salmon. I used to avoid fixing salmon patties because of that. Now I buy cans of salmon with the bones and skin already removed. More expensive but worth it to me.

    I thought these were tasty, I used salmon and added minced onion, minced celery & lemon juice. Also added a little dill. written, the mixture was too dry to make into cakes, it was just crumbly, so I added an egg and that made the mixture pliable enough to make into patties. Fried with olive oil/butter and that worked fine.

    My husband gave this a 10! I did not refrigerate for an hour but this did not pose a problem; was afraid they would fall apart but this was not the case. Very, very tasty.
