Took someone else's advice - buttered the bread and toasted it for 5 minutes. Used pepperoni instead of bacon. It was a hit with the whole family!
Excellent, quick, easy recipe. Was a big hit with the adults and the picky kids. Omitted the French Bread for Sub Rolls, and added pepperoni instead of bacon. Perfect middle of the week or last minute dinner decision.
My pizza loving family loves this recipe. I cut way back on the oregano and added pepperoni and extra cheese. For the grown ups, added mushrooms and onions too. :)
