Made with panko bread crumbs, almonds and a little garlic and butter, this elegant, yet easy-to-make, casserole brings out the best in a batch of garden-fresh green beans.

What You Need

lb.  fresh green beans, trimmed, cut crosswise in half
1
pkg.  (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2
cup  milk
1/4
tsp.  black pepper
2
cloves  garlic, minced, divided
1/2
cup  PLANTERS Sliced Almonds
1/4
cup  panko bread crumbs
2
Tbsp.  butter, melted

Make It

HEAT oven to 350ºF.

COOK beans in boiling water 3 min. Meanwhile, mix cream cheese, milk, pepper and half the garlic until blended.

DRAIN beans; place in 2-qt. casserole sprayed with cooking spray. Add cream cheese mixture; toss to evenly coat beans.

COMBINE remaining ingredients with remaining garlic; sprinkle over bean mixture.

BAKE 30 min. or until beans are tender and topping is golden brown.
