Rated 5 out of 5 by from I absolutely loved the this recipe because it tasted so fresh. I absolutely loved the this recipe because it tasted so fresh. I did substitute with the wheat pasta, as suggested. The only problem I had was finding mozzarella balls so I just bought a brick of fresh part-skim mozzarella and broke it into pieces. I had it for dinner the night I made it and then I ate it cold the next day for lunch. It was delicious both ways!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a classic recipe in Europe called Pasta Caprese. This is a classic recipe in Europe called Pasta Caprese. It is served hot not cold. My husband loves it and when we go to this one cafe in Germany he always orders it. They tell us that it is their number one seller. Try it hot, you'll love it. Just boil the pasta and add the cold ingredients to the hot pasta and serve immediately.

This is a really delicious dish, but the first time I made it I thought it was a bit dry and more food than we needed. So I tweaked it a bit: used only 1 pound of tomatoes (the grape tomatoes are great -- cut in half), and only 8 oz. of pasta. It was much more moist this way and was a big hit at our Labor Day cookout!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Made this for a church function and was well received. Made this for a church function and was well received. Couldn't find the mozzarella balls, so I just cut up some fresh mozarella. Must eat in a few days if using fresh cheese, otherwise it will start to have a funny taste. All in all, it was a great light summer dish. Will make it again!

I've made this recipe twice now and everyone (my kids included) love it! I get requests for seconds...and sometimes more!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This recipe was great! This recipe was great! Very light, refreshing, and good for you. I substituted whole wheat penne, and it was just as good. The next time I will put a little more balsamic in there for extra kick.
