What You Need

pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted

1-1/2

cups milk, divided

Tbsp. sugar

cups ice cubes

cup COOL WHIP or COOL WHIP French Vanilla Whipped Topping, unthawed

tsp. vanilla

Make It

PLACE chocolate, 1/2 cup of the milk and the sugar in blender container; cover. Blend on high speed until well blended.

ADD remaining 1 cup milk, the ice, frozen whipped topping and vanilla; cover. Blend on high speed until smooth.

SERVE immediately.

How to Melt Chocolate in the Microwave

Place chocolate in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1-1/2 min. or until chocolate is almost melted, stirring every 30 sec. (The squares will retain their shapes.) Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

Variation

Prepare as directed, using fat-free milk and COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping.

I was looking for a fun, non-alcholic drink and this one hit the spot. It definately tasted like frozen hot chocolate.

I put whipped cream and sprinkles on top and served it in mugs...my kids loved it. fun

i liked how frothy it was. my husband thought if we used a bit of gelatin it would thicken up nicely.

I made this recipe twice, once following the directions exactly, and the second time I altered it a bit. I didn't melt the chocolate squares, but chopped them up, and put them directly in the blender. It worked great and was quicker and much easier! My husband loved it, I will definately make it again and again!
