I made this recipe using the new "pina colada" jello. Used a tub of vanilla frosting, adding a teaspoon of coconut extract and heated it in the microwave to make it a "glaze" and sprinkled coconut on top. Really good! My family loved it.
I used a cherry chip cake mix with cherry jello. Glazed it with powdered sugar mixed with milk and a small bit of almond extract. Very nice taste and moist.
The cake turned out great, the only thing I ran into was the flutted cake pan should have been an 12 inch in height versus a 10 inch in height, but over all the cake came out wonderful, tasty, and moist. Thanks to who ever was responsible for this recipe.
