I omitted the ginger and the flavor was great without. The mix of fruit was wonderful. I used canned pineapple but fresh peaches. It does need to be served immediately to look pretty. Would make again, but not for a large party.
This was a nice change on how to get my fruit. I enjoyed it very much. My children, surprisingly, didn't eat more than 5 bites each. since fruit is so time sensitive and it wasn't a big hit i probably wont make it too often. but it was tasty.
