What You Need

pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

1/3

cup sugar

env. DREAM WHIP Whipped Topping Mix, prepared as directed on package

HONEY MAID Graham Pie Crust (6 oz.)

cup canned cherry pie filling

Make It

BEAT cream cheese and sugar in medium bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Gently stir in whipped topping.

SPOON into crust. Spoon cherry pie filling around edge of pie.

REFRIGERATE at least 3 hours. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.

My son loves this dessert and now I make it for him for all major holidays as a special treat. I spread the cheeries over the whole thing. Super easy, anyone can make this even my son could!

This is so yummy..I can't believe that something so in expensive like this dessert taste so so good..I made 2 pies for Easter and everyone loved it..I used regular cool whip instead of the receipe whip and it came out great..

I used strawberries and it was DELICIOUS and sooo easy. Also, I froze it for a harder consistency and then let it defrost for about 20 min, and it came out perfectly. My family of 3 devoured it in 2 nights!

I just loved to make this recipe and serve it to my kids. This is one of my kids' faves, especially my youngest son. It's so easy to prepare and easy on the budget that is surely great to everyone's palate.

This is very good, but I have an OLD receipe that calls for a 9 oz. pkg of dream whip that is better. How many of the 2 oz. pkgs should I use? Thanks, BOwens

It is even better with bananas on the bottom of the pie shell and use blue berries on top! A family favorite for years!!! You better make at least 2 pies. One will not be enough!! It also works well with regular pie crust prepared as if for a cream pie.

I was so glad to find this recipe on-line. It has been years since I made it. I was 7 years old when I had it for the first time and was surprised by the "cheese cake" layer under the fruit! Thanks so much.
