What You Need

cups chopped fresh strawberries

can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained

pkg. (6 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin

cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows

pkg. (2-layer size) white cake mix

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

SPREAD strawberries onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan; top with pineapple. Sprinkle with dry gelatin mix; top with marshmallows.

PREPARE cake batter as directed on package, omitting the oil. Pour over marshmallows.

BAKE 50 to 55 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Keep refrigerated.

Make it Easy

For ease in serving, line pan with foil; grease lightly. Prepare cake as directed. After baking and cooling 15 min., invert pan onto serving tray. Carefully remove foil.

Special Extra

Spoon 2 Tbsp. thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping over each cake square just before serving.

Substitute

Prepare using 2 pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin.

This is great! I used Pineapple Supreme cake mix and cherry jell-o because that's what I had in the pantry! I should have made two pans!

This a very easy recipe. I made my own cake mix from scratch, but follow the recipe from Kraft Foods People will be asking for this recipe.

This is a wonderful recipe. Whole family loves it! I love to make this dessert during the winter, it's warm but reminds me of summer with its strawberry shortcake taste.

Really tasty. I used a butter yellow cake mix and it turned out nice.
