  • Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.
  • Meanwhile, heat dressing in large saucepan on medium-high heat. Add garlic; cook 1 min. Add spaghetti sauce and carrots; cover. Simmer on medium-low heat 5 min. Stir in shrimp; simmer, uncovered, 5 min. or until carrots are tender.
  • Drain pasta; place on platter. Top with the shrimp mixture, cheese and basil.


For added fiber, prepare as directed using multigrain or whole wheat pasta.


Substitute fresh parsley for the basil.

    Far too much sodium for healthy living. More and more mid aged people I know are being put on low sodium diets for heart health.
