Since the steak will continue to cook during the standing time, it should be removed from the grill before it is cooked through. (The steak should still be pink.) Let stand, covered, at room temperature for several minutes as directed in recipe. This will result in a juicier finished product.

This is by far one of the most surprising recipes ever. I wasn't sure if my kids, or even myself, would like it. However, we all loved it. Outstanding! You must try it.
I found it difficult to roll the beef up tightly, and once cooked, the filling was so juicy that it went everywhere when I sliced it. So we ended up having curly steak slices with a weird cheese vegetable sauce. It tasted ok, but the presentation definitely didn't work!
